There are heroes in all walks of life. They have left an indelible impression upon the world with new ideas, new thoughts, new expressions and above all by their immense contribution towards society. But do not forget that there are many heroes of our day to day life, the many unsung heroes who make our life worth living. They go on perspiring everyday so that you can live in comfort.

Does it really take a lot of effort to make the unclad, unfed child smile? All it takes perhaps is the goodness of your heart. And if you extend this goodness, you’ll find this world a good place, a better place to live. Live with three E’s—energy, enthusiasm, empathy and the three F’s—faith, family, friends. Dream more while you are awake.

Every individual who can contribute to our smile, who takes care of us when we are sick, make us happy when we are distressed, show us the right path when we go the wrong way are also heroes who make this life worth living. Through their action and words they inspire us to face and conquer the hurdles of life. People with extraordinary merits have challenged the limits of human imagination, but not all extraordinary men are our heroes. Heroes are those who not only walk along with their dreams, but inspire others to carry their dream forward. In this materialistic age we should not be overwhelmed by media created heroes – remember an unsung farmer perspires to feed you.

Every one of us has the potential to become a hero. People who embrace challenges in life turn every grief into happiness with sheer will power, dedication, hard work and perseverance. These are the people who can make things happen and make others smile hiding there pain. They are the heroes who make this life worth living. We can be one of them if we have courage that disdains immediate benefits, perseverance that can defy all odds, mental strength that can conquer self-obsessed grief, humility that grows and not diminishes with our achievements and a love that can embrace all.
